About Jairo
I’m a Metrology Supervisor in the pharmaceutical industry, currently supporting large-scale manufacturing operations at Novo Nordisk in North Carolina. My career spans over 15 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, where I built a strong foundation in leadership, operational discipline, and technical problem-solving before transitioning into highly regulated industries. Since leaving the military, I’ve successfully navigated career pivots into pharmaceuticals and supported initiatives connected to aerospace and advanced manufacturing environments. Along the way, I’ve worked across metrology, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making, including contributing to the development of a generative AI center of excellence during my time supporting Amgen. My expertise sits at the intersection of: Career transition strategy (military → corporate) Breaking into regulated industries (pharma, biotech, aerospace) Process improvement and Lean Six Sigma thinking Professional positioning, networking, and internal referrals I don’t take a theoretical approach. I focus on what actually works in today’s hiring environment: how to position your experience, how to communicate your value, and how to navigate systems that aren’t always transparent. If you’re trying to transition industries, level up professionally, or understand how to move strategically instead of blindly applying, I can help you build a clear, executable path.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve lived the exact transition many people are trying to figure out. Leaving the military after 15 years, I had to translate my experience into a language that corporate employers could understand. There was no clear roadmap, and most of the advice out there didn’t apply to real-world hiring practices. What made the difference for me wasn’t just hard work—it was learning how to position myself, how to network effectively, and how to align my experience with what companies actually needed. Since then, I’ve helped others do the same—especially service members and professionals trying to break into industries like pharmaceuticals or advanced manufacturing. I’ve seen firsthand how the right guidance can shorten someone’s transition timeline by months or even years. Coaching matters to me because: I know how confusing and frustrating the transition process can be I’ve built systems and approaches that consistently work I want people to avoid the trial-and-error phase I went through My goal is simple: give you clarity, direction, and a strategy that leads to real opportunities—not just more applications.
