About Jack
I’m an investment banking associate at Morgan Stanley in NYC. Previously I was an Army officer serving with special forces and a Fulbright Scholar in Turkey. I’m from Los Angeles. Married to Jenna, musical theatre composer and writer. What fires me up…pick-up sports, learning languages, urban planning. I also love hearing about friends’ goals and helping them achieve them!
Why do I coach?
I credit my successes to coaches that knew how to say the right thing at the right time. That includes childhood sports coaches, the ‘coaches’ who helped me break up with my high school girlfriend, and the mentors that helped me break into investment banking :) So I try to pay it forward. I coach because there is something special in helping others achieve their goals. I enjoy getting to know people, learning what makes them tick, and providing thoughtful suggestions. There's something special about understanding someone else's context, then sharing lessons learned from your own hard-fought experience. It's a privilege to help -- and grow together.
