About Jack

Background: UC Berkeley B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (2023) I currently work as a graphics research engineer at Qualcomm in San Diego. In my free time, I like to surf, coach water polo, and I'm a huge Padres and FC Barcelona fan. Through coaching high school water polo and having younger siblings, I've been heavily involved in college admissions throughout the past few years, and I'd like to share that experience with you guys. I mostly specialize in STEM applicants as well as the UC application. I hope to work with you to achieve your personal and professional goals!!

Why do I coach?

College admissions seems to get more and more competitive each year. It's extremely difficult to share your life story in a few short essays: knowing which key points to focus -- deciding whether to write about what you think makes you look like a strong candidate versus what you're truly passionate about. I remember being absolutely clueless and drafting gibberish when I was first applying to undergrad. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing at first. But now having gone through the process a few times, I can help you easily navigate through this stressful, seemingly complicated process with a clear goal and process in mind.
