Hi, I’m Gen — a career coach, content strategist, and events specialist with a passion for helping people build flexible, fulfilling careers that fit their lifestyle. After over a decade working in marketing and events across Europe, Asia, and South America — both in-house and as a freelancer — I know what it’s like to build (and rebuild) a career from scratch. I’ve lived the freelancer highs and lows, navigated life as a digital nomad, and found my way back to work after sabbaticals and big transitions. Along the way, I’ve supported people around me in doing the same — helping them go freelance, pivot into new industries, or create more freedom in how they work. I’m originally from Canada and now based in London, but I’ve worked with teams and clients around the world. I bring a calm, strategic, and honest approach to coaching — no fluff, no pressure — just clear guidance to help you take action and feel more confident in your path. Why do I coach?
Coaching matters to me because I know what it feels like to be stuck — to question your next move, to want more freedom or purpose in your work, but not know where to start. I’ve gone through career pivots, taken time off, built a freelance business from scratch, and moved countries more than once. Every step came with uncertainty, and what helped the most wasn’t a perfect plan — it was having someone who could listen, reflect back my strengths, and help me move forward with clarity. I’ve had a few incredible mentors and peers along the way who gave me that kind of support — and now I want to offer the same. I believe coaching can create space to think differently, act more intentionally, and build a life that actually fits you. That’s what it’s done for me, and that’s why I’m here.
