About Emily
As a graduate of both Cornell University and Harvard University, I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and real-world experience to my coaching practice. My passion for workplace wellness drives my commitment to helping individuals navigate career transitions, manage school applications, and achieve their professional and educational goals. With a compassionate, detail-oriented approach, I understand and appreciate diverse perspectives, allowing me to offer holistic support as clients work to balance academic aspirations, career development, and personal well-being. I hold a Master’s in Psychology from Harvard, where I conducted research on burnout, psychological coping, and resilience. My professional background spans leadership roles in healthcare and marketing, where I led initiatives empowering individuals and organizations to improve health, performance, and overall well-being. This experience complements my coaching approach, which focuses on creating actionable strategies for clients navigating career changes, advancing in their field, or pursuing higher education. Currently, I serve as the Sponsor & Fellow Outreach Manager at the Institute of Coaching, where I support coaching leaders and help them amplify their impact globally. Through both my coaching practice and my work at the Institute, I empower individuals to achieve their highest potential by combining evidence-based strategies with personalized support in the pursuit of their career and academic goals.
Why do I coach?
Coaching is important to me because I’ve seen the difference it can make in helping individuals find clarity, tackle challenges, and unlock their potential—whether it’s navigating career changes, applying for grad school, or managing stress. I’m passionate about using the principles of positive psychology to help people align their strengths and values with their goals, especially when it comes to their careers and personal development. Having a background in psychology and experience working in corporate settings, I know how complex these transitions can be. I coach because I believe that with the right mindset, tools, and strategies, anyone can improve their performance, reduce stress, and make meaningful progress toward their goals. Helping clients thrive in both their personal and professional lives is what drives me, and that’s why I’m dedicated to providing practical, research-backed support that leads to real, lasting change.
