I am here to support you with your MBA application process and guide you ever step of the way! I am a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management (MBA, 2025) and Cornell University (BA, 2018). As someone who had a very non-traditional path to her MBA, as I studied humanities undergrad, I offer a unique perspective on how to position yourself as the ideal MBA candidate and perfectly well-rounded addition to your MBA program. I am here to support with school selection, essay narrative and editing, interview prep, and networking strategy. I have experience both undergrad and graduate school in supporting peers writing and editing their own personal stories, and have extensive experience coaching and mentoring as well. I also have indepth marketing experience - starting from the creative agency (Wunderman Thompson, Conde Nast), and moving toward big CPG Companies (Mattel - Summer MBA Internship, and Molson Coors). I would love to assist you on your MBA journey!

About Emily Agnew | Kellogg | Brand Marketing (MolsonCoors and Ex-Mattel)
I’m a Kellogg MBA graduate who followed a nontraditional path to business school, bringing a unique perspective to marketing and brand strategy. My journey to an MBA was not straightforward - I was even waitlisted before ultimately earning my place at every school I applied to. That experience taught me resilience, storytelling, and how to make my authentic narrative resonate. I am passionate about helping other navigate the MBA application process to achieve a role at their dream programs. I am passionate about marketing, brand strategy and creativity - I did my MBA internship at Mattel on the Barbie Brand Marketing team and am now an assistant marketing manager at MolsonCoors.
Why do I coach?
What excites me most is helping others find and articulate their stories. As a coach for Hear My Story at Kellogg and an EARS Peer counselor at Cornell, I developed a passion for guiding people through vulnerable, high-stakes moments. Paired with my professional focus on marketing and brand strategy, where crafting compelling, consumer-centric narratives is at the heart of the work, I’ve built a skill set in listening deeply, distilling complex experiences, and translating them into powerful messages. I’m also a strong writer, and I believe that thoughtful communication can open doors, whether it’s an admissions essay, an interview, or a career transition. My goal as a coach is to help others unlock their own voice and feel confident sharing their story.
