Hey there! π I'm a Stanford GSB MBA student (via deferred 2+2) and Stanford undergraduate alum who just wrapped up 4 years in the Google PM world, where I started as an Associate Product Manager (APM). I was accepted to Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) for my MBA while still in my senior year of college but instead of diving right in, I took a detour, deferred my admission for four years, and decided to kickstart my career journey at Google instead. Why? Because life's an adventure, and I couldn't resist the allure of Google's awesomeness! I'm here to help you wherever I can -- be it choosing which schools, companies, or job programs to apply to, writing or editing your essays, crafting the perfect resume or cover letter, nailing that interview, pivoting in your career, breaking into tech/PM from a non-tech background, or anything else you'd like to chat about! At Google, I embarked on my tech journey via the world of Marketing/Business, a la 'go-to-market strategy', crafting e-commerce launch strategies for all things in the consumer electronics world, at Google Pixel. Then, I decided to pivot and break into PM. I made my way into the world of product management, where I joined the Google AI team at Gemini to build consumer AI apps, focusing on where Gemini's AI can provide tangible value to people. I won Google's "Tech Impact Award" (1% of the company) for my work on Gemini AI. π During my Stanford undergraduate days, I wore many hats β Class President, Board of Trustees member, President of the Stanford Marketing Consulting Group, etc. While there, I earned the 2021 Stanford Lyones Award (only 3 awarded each year) and the 2021 Stanford Alumni Award of Excellence (top 10% of the class) for my contributions to the Stanford community. For those of you who love a good resume highlight, I was named a 2019 Forbes 30 under 30 Scholar for contributions to Stanford. I'm also an Eagle Scout and a proud Iranian. When I'm not coaching or working you'll find me chilling in the beachy vibes of my hometown, Half Moon Bay, California. My idea of a good time? Long gaming sessions (PC/Xbox/Switch) that run into the night. I'll also never turn down a basketball game π So, there you have it β a little sneak peek into my world. Let's connect, grow, and make the world a more exciting place together! π Let's work on: β‘ Undergrad/MBA applications β‘ Resume, Cover Letter, LinkedIn, and Essay reviews β‘ ...and more!

Why do I coach?
Coaching means the world to me because it's something I wish I had embraced earlier in my own journey. Back when I was applying to schools and navigating the twists and turns of my career, I didn't fully tap into the incredible resources available, like mentorship and coaching. Looking back, I realize how much more efficient and less daunting the process could have been with the right guidance. However, my own path, though inefficient, taught me a valuable lesson: the profound impact of helping others. I intimately understand how daunting it can be to forge ahead without the right support channels. That's why coaching matters so deeply to me; I've walked that path, learned from it, and now, I want to share those insights with you. It's why I was a Residential Assistant (RA) at Stanford for two years, why I was a Class President, and why now I'm coaching. I've also spent 4 years as an interviewer for Stanford's undergraduate admissions committee, and 2 years conducting APM & PM interviews at Google. Through my own journey, I've uncovered what truly works and what doesn't when it comes to navigating career changes, acing those resumes and cover letters, and crafting those winning college essays. I've tested the waters, made the mistakes, and emerged stronger and wiser. Now, I'm here to help you avoid those pitfalls and fast-track your journey to success. Over the years, I've become the go-to person for all things related to resumes, cover letters, college essays, and more among my friends, family, and professional network. I've reviewed countless documents, mentored dozens of individuals, and witnessed their growth firsthand. The satisfaction of watching others thrive and achieve their goals through mutual mentorship and support is immeasurable. And with the power of Leland, I can scale that impact even further. So, why do I coach? Because I know the difference it can make, and I'm committed to being your guide, your cheerleader, and your strategic partner on your journey to success. Let's embark on this exciting adventure together! π
