About Dave

I've had two careers. The current one, which started in 2006 is as an executive or leadership coach for leaders at all organizational levels. I hold credentials with the ICF as a Professional Certified Coach, from the Center for Credentialing & Education as a Board Certified Executive Coach, from the iNLP Center as a Master of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and from the Myers-Briggs Foundation as a Certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner. In those years, I have helped teams and leaders in Nigeria, Thailand, Canada and throughout the United States to improve their performance through coaching. Prior to coaching, I spend 6 years in the Navy which was followed by a 20 year career in various levels of operations and manufacturing leadership in union and non-union organizations. I learned what good leadership looked like from my teams and strove to become the leader they needed and deserved.

Why do I coach?

I became a leadership coach because when I became a first level leader, I found that there was almost zero organizational support for development for myself and my peers. Worse, that and other companies largely don't recognize that developing the skills of their leaders at every level, has a direct and positive impact on bottom line performance. My "why' for being a coach is to help others identify and develop the skills they need to improve their effectiveness and to unlock their performance and that of their team. I don't have all the answers, but as a certified coach, my job is to ask the questions and help you as a thinking partner, or re-thinking partner to improve your effectiveness.
