Dan has helped clients get into these companies:

I grew up in a household with a very strong focus on academic and professional success. Fortunately, I was successful enough at those thing to be accepted first into undergrad at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and then to a role at McKinsey. However, once there, I realized that the standard definitions of professional success were not fulfilling or satisfying to me personally. Since then, my career has been a decade-long journey to align professional success with personal fulfillment. For me, personal fulfillment meant building a career that was benefitting the lives of others. That pursuit has led me across various industries (Global Health, Education, and Financial Health), functions (Strategy and Project Management, Impact Measurement, Grantmaking), org types (Professional Services, Operator, Funder, For Profit and Non Profit), and graduate school (HBS). Now, I feel the most self-actualized I have ever felt, and the most confident in being in "the right place" in my career and in my personal life. I learned a lot about professional and personal growth along the way, and I am excited to use that learning to help support you in your own journey.

About Dan

I grew up in a household with a very strong focus on academic and professional success, which led to me spending a lot of time developing my ability to navigate the processes of institutional acceptance: standardized tests, application processes, and interviews. That pursuit has led me across various industries, functions, org types, and to graduate school. It also required me to build out my application and interview skillset even further, as I navigated career pivots into competitive organizations (JPMorganChase) and grad schools (HBS). Now, I find myself in a role that is both professionally rewarding and personally fulfilling, and I hope to use the experience and insight I gained along my journey to help support you in reaching a combination of professional and personal success.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I enjoy supporting others in reaching their personal and professional goals. I believe many of us are capable of living a life of success and self-actualization, and are often limited not by our skillsets or capabilities but by our abilities to navigate the "processes" or "tests" that institutions put in front of us (e.g., school applications, job interviews). Of course, part of navigating these processes is having the right skillsets and experience, but another part is approaching these decision-points with clarity and confidence. I have been fortunate enough to encounter and pass through several of these selected processes, and have supported my family in friends in doing the same. I have also been rejected by several of those same processes, and know how disappointing that can be. I know most people are capable of great things, and I know that how we navigate these processes can make a big difference in the way we live our lives. I want to see as many people living their best lives as possible, and I believe I can help them do that through my coaching practice. That is why I coach.
