Why do I coach?

After I left my career as an actress, I spent many years in corporate roles, rising through the ranks to run recruiting functions in finance and healthcare. While that journey gave me invaluable experience, I knew I wanted to find something that was more aligned with my values and purpose. In 2021, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and my father’s health started to deteriorate simultaneously. We were in the middle of the pandemic, I was working 12-14 hour days while trying to help my parents and my young children, and I felt stuck and burned out. I knew I needed a change, but I had no idea where to start or how to get off the hamster wheel. I was stressed, anxious and tired. When I left my last job, I knew it was time to be truly intentional about my next step. Coaching had been on my mind for a few years because I had been coached in my previous roles and benefited greatly from the experience. I researched, talked to various people in the industry and decided to enroll in the coach certification program at iPEC. Coaching allows me to double down on my natural strengths of curiosity, empathy, intuitive listening and relationship management. I love working with people and helping them make meaningful change and progress in their lives. Watching the shifts and transformation has been truly rewarding. I pride myself in my ability to hear and see things with an insightful and observant eye. I will bring a warm, empathetic energy to our sessions, be your biggest cheerleader and help you stay on course to meet your goals and deepest desires.
