About Claudio

I am a lawyer trained in Brazil and now building my career across Canada and the United States. I recently completed the Global Professional Master of Laws at the University of Toronto, where I focused on Canadian law. My legal experience includes working on a death penalty case in Arizona, handling banking disputes at the Roraima Court of Appeal in Brazil, supporting corporate and real estate matters in Toronto, and serving at Ontario’s Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. Alongside practice, I host Studying Law Around the World, a podcast where I interview lawyers and law students across 19 jurisdictions. I’ve also led projects connecting law students with professionals, including a personal challenge to speak with 75 lawyers across Canada. These conversations gave me first-hand insight into the law school journey, the admissions process, and the realities of building a cross-border legal career. I now articling at a Canadian law firm and remain committed to helping others navigate their own educational and professional transitions in law.
