Christian’s College Qualifications

Welcome to my profile! As a current fourth-year medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine, I have a strong background in mentoring and teaching, particularly in the college admissions process. During my time as president of the Pre-Medical Honor Society at Vanderbilt University, I helped peers and mentees navigate the medical school application process, from crafting their personal statements to preparing for the MCAT. At Tufts, I was president of our Tutoring Club, I worked closely with students from a local inner-city school. I helped them identify their goals and develop strategies to achieve them, whether it was SAT/ACT prep, brainstorming essay ideas, or editing secondary essays. This further honed my skills in refining personal statements and framing applications to highlight each student's unique strengths. I'm passionate about meeting students where they are and helping them through the college admissions journey and am here to help you craft a compelling application. Your goals are my goals, so let's work together to make them a reality!

About Christian

Hi, my name is Chris, and I am a fourth-year medical student at Tufts University. Prior to this, I attended Vanderbilt University, where I graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. I am passionate about mentorship and teaching, and I have been working with students of all levels since my time at Vanderbilt to help identify and reach their professional goals. Whether your goal is to get into your top undergraduate university or medical school, I am confident I can help you get there!

Why do I coach?

Throughout my journey to medical school, mentors played a defining role—offering guidance, encouragement, and honest feedback when I needed it most. Their support helped me find direction and confidence in moments of uncertainty. That experience inspired me to pay it forward. Coaching gives me the chance to offer the same mentorship I have so often relied on, and I my goal now is to help students find clarity, believe in their potential, and reach their goals with confidence.

Current standardized hearing assessments are limited to English and Spanish; however, 10% of the US working population self-identifies as limited English proficient, and this number is continuing to grow. We aim to employ non-linguistic stimuli to remove the need for mutual language understanding between patient and clinician and subjective clinician interpretation, improving patient counseling and ultimately patient outcomes.

Tufts University School of Medicine

MD, Medical Doctor

2020 - 2025

During my time at Tufts University, I have worked in multiple mentoring/teaching roles. I was president of our Tutoring Club, where we conducted 1-on-1 tutoring sessions at a local inner city school. Over time, I was able to develop relationships with many of the students and was asked to help them in the college admissions process. I worked with students to identify their goals and devise a plan to reach them. Whether through SAT/ACT prep during out weekly sessions, or brainstorming essay concepts over Zoom, my goal was to let the students know that their goals were my goals and that we would do our best to achieve them.

2016 - 2020

During my time at Vanderbilt, I served as president of our Pre-Medical Honor Society. In that role, I helped peers and mentees prepare for the MCAT and build their medical school applications. Specifically, I looked to refine personal statements and frame applications in a way that emphasized strengths (i.e. research, service, unique interests) and highlighted what makes each student a good candidate.
