To be really good at recruiting for or winning in venture, VCs need to be good at fundraising, scouting, evaluation, operations, and portfolio support. I have been part of the 0-1 phase of three different funds, each with different unique approaches and competitive angles. I have led investments in close to a hundred startups, and looked at thousands more.
