About Brendalyn
I’m Brendalyn—an executive coach, strategist, and community builder with over two decades of experience guiding individuals and organizations through deep transformation. At Bhavana Learning Group, I coach leaders, founders, and professionals to cultivate awareness, deepen presence, and lead with wisdom. My approach blends the rigor of ontological coaching with mindfulness practices, helping clients unearth clarity, navigate complexity, and align their leadership with who they truly are. But my story doesn’t begin or end with leaders. After building my career in NYC’s startup and education sectors, I returned to the Midwest to heal—first from the inside out—and now through land stewardship. I’m the founder of RepProject40, where I lead the restoration of Missouri’s first Black resort, a 244-acre site dedicated to healing, history, and reimagining what community and rest can look like for future generations. Whether I’m coaching a CEO, designing a retreat, or stewarding the land, my purpose is the same: to create spaces for deep listening, honest inquiry, and bold action. If you’re ready to do the inner work that sustains outer impact—I’m here for that.
Why do I coach?
Honestly? I coach because I’ve been there. I’ve been the high achiever doing all the right things—and still feeling stuck. I’ve faced burnout, health challenges, and those big “what now?” moments that make you question everything. What helped me through? Having a coach who could hold space for me to slow down, reflect, and figure out what actually mattered. That experience changed the game for me. It showed me that coaching isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about having someone who asks the right questions. Now, I get to be that person for others. I coach people who are in transition, building something big, or just trying to live and lead more intentionally. We explore mindset, identity, presence, and purpose—not just goals. Because when you start showing up for yourself differently, everything else follows.
