About Bernadine
Bernadine J. Dykes, Ph.D., CPA is a Professor of Management and Associate Dean of the School of Business at Shenandoah University. She received her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Michigan State University, MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and BBA (cum laude) from Howard University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Previously, she served as an Associate Director of Admissions at Columbia Business School (CBS). At CBS, she managed and made decisions for over 10,000 applications. She was also the Acting Director of the MBA Program at Johns Hopkins University (Carey School of Business). Prior to her career in academia, she worked in leadership positions in the financial services industry with KPMG in Washington, DC and JPMorganChase in New York City.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I often struggled with navigating my professional career and educational experiences. I want to help others by sharing what I have learned.
