With ten years of experience in postsecondary access, I'm skilled at building connections with students and delivering information about college. I'm confident that my dynamic skill set in communication, workshops, and adaptability make me an excellent candidate for this role. I have a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in higher and postsecondary education, so I understand the importance of meeting the needs of all students. I have a proven track record of success in advising, recruiting, and building partnerships with corporations and organizations. As the current College Access Counselor and Robinhood Partnership Coordinator, I have been responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive student recruitment and admissions strategy. I have successfully recruited and advised over 50 students annually. I have also delivered presentations, workshops, and other initiatives to promote the college and its programs to international audiences. I have also managed the admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment, for prospective students who are undocumented, justice-impacted, and have GED/HSE. I have maintained an 86% successful matriculation rate. Once students are complete with my services, they do well in college or at a university.
