I was selected to work as an inorganic chemistry teacher in Singapore at Ngee Ann Polytechnic institute. I lectured to 85 students (aged 16-19 years old), ran lab sessions, wrote exams and problem sets, and led mentoring/tutoring sessions. I was nominated for a School Teaching Award in the 2014/2015 school year. I participated in the school's community outreach programs, teaching workships in both chemistry and forensic science. In addition to organizing shadowing experiences and discussion groups for pre-medical students, I worked as a trip leader for the school's Overseas Immersion Program, where I co-led a group of 60 biomedical students on two international trips to China for several weeks. While living in Singapore, I traveled to around 70 countries in my free time.

Personally, I was offered 10 interviews out of the 11 endodontic residency programs I applied to and I was offered admission to an endodontic residency program directly out of dental school. In dental school, I was selected to work as a foundational sciences tutor, I volunteered to help residents in the Department of Endodontics and Pediatrics complete their research projects and work as a chairside surgical assistant, and I was a board member of the Dental Innovators, Creators, and Entrepenuers (DICE) club.
