About Ashley
I’m an executive coach and talent advisor with a background spanning investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and talent leadership. I began my career as a student-athlete at Georgetown University, where I played Division I soccer while majoring in finance and accounting—an experience that shaped my leadership style, discipline, and team-first mindset early on. After Georgetown, I worked in investment banking at Jefferies in the Financial Sponsors Group, advising leading private equity firms, before moving into private equity myself. At Altamont Capital Partners, I focused on business development and capital markets, gaining a front-row seat to how top investors source deals and assess people, opportunities, and long-term value creation. I then earned my MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and transitioned into early-stage venture capital investing. Today, I work as a talent professional in private equity, partnering with PE firms and PE-backed companies to design thoughtful talent strategies and hire exceptional leaders. My work sits at the intersection of performance, leadership, and culture—because the right hire isn’t just technically strong, they elevate teams, set the tone, and scale with the business. As a coach, I help high-performing professionals navigate IB and PE recruiting, break into venture capital, transition into operating roles, and grow into confident, values-driven leaders. I bring a high-EQ, candid, and practical approach, helping clients clarify their story, lead with authenticity, and make career moves that align with both ambition and impact.
Why do I coach?
Coaching has been a defining force in my life. As a former Division I college athlete, I’ve spent years on both sides of the coach–player relationship, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful the right guidance can be. The best coaches don’t just prepare you for the next game or milestone—they challenge your thinking, offer honest feedback, and help you see potential in yourself before you fully recognize it. I would not be where I am today without the coaches and mentors who believed in me, pushed me beyond my comfort zone, and held me to a higher standard. They helped me build confidence, resilience, and clarity during pivotal moments when the stakes felt high and the path forward wasn’t obvious. That experience is why I coach. I’m passionate about partnering with driven individuals to help them sharpen their story, lead with authenticity, and make intentional career moves. My goal is to be the coach who helps you prepare at an elite level—and ultimately, achieve the career or business school outcome you’re striving for.
