I'm a Product Marketing Manager with 8 years of experience directing go-to-market strategy at each stage of the software development lifecycle. I specialize in managing product-led growth programs that increase revenue, user engagement, and customer satisfaction for venture-backed startups and corporate enterprises. Throughout my career, I launched 12 AI, ML, and B2B SaaS products generating $24 million in net gains. I've recently scaled enterprise growth with security and compliance solutions produced by Fortune 1000 companies. I'm now at Atlassian, extending functionality of the most widely used business software to help agile customers operate securely, efficiently, and compliantly. During my time at Meta, I managed a team that promoted data infrastructure and operation platforms contributing to AI research and multimodal large-language models, as well as virtual and augmented reality. As Product Manager, I delivered cloud administration capabilities for engineers to manage compute resources more efficiently while complying with security, privacy, and financial regulations. These developer tools helped retain millions in ad sales, mitigated thousands ofvulnerabilities, saved engineering hours, and optimized uptime of essential services. I graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in finance and later earned certifications in data analytics, web design, and scrum master methodology. I’m also a father, writer, and rugby player based in Northern California.
Why do I coach?
Over the last 2.5 years, I’ve coached 25 aspiring professionals on how to join a Fortune 1000 company as a product marketer. Each session was 100% free and unfiltered with no gatekeeping. Now, you might be wondering why or how a new parent could justify the time invested. Well, I pride myself in being a self-taught professional — either the first or one and only in my previous growth positions. I didn’t begin my career as a Product Marketing Manager and realized over time that I performed the function in every aspect without the title for some time. When trying to break into the field, I faced skepticism from recruiters and hiring managers. I networked with the hope of finding a mentor who could guide me in the right direction. Some people were more welcoming than others. I vowed to be someone others could turn to for the guidance I was seeking. That’s why I’ve joined Leland to continue coaching others.
