Why do I coach?

I coach because I was once in your shoes. I found myself overwhelmed with all things PA school. Between applying, getting in and succeeding, and finally passing my PANCE and applying for licensing it was all so confusing and overwhelming. Each step forward I took in figuring it out and getting help from mentors, I always loved teaching and helping others. I was a peer tutor for difficult classes in PA school and now assist my program as an alumni interviewer whenever needed each interview cycle for the PA program. I love giving back and helping others since I have been through this and don't want others to have the same struggles as I once did.

Manage postoperative cardiac and thoracic patients. Evaluate new inpatient consults and order the appropriate workup prior to surgery. Perform bedside procedures such as chest tube insertions and inserting arterial lines. Coordinate discharge and follow-up appointments for patients.

While I anticipated the start of PA school in September of 2020, I took the time to work caring for children and infants as a private nanny. I wanted the experience to take care of children of all ages and to better understand their developmental milestones.
