10+ people coached for Executive Coaching
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of data, leadership, and human potential — helping people and organizations see what’s possible when clarity meets courage. As Vice President of Analytics at UnitedHealth Group, I lead a global Reporting, Analytics & Data (RAD) team that serves as a strategic brain for Procurement, Real Estate, ESG, M&A, and Treasury. It’s a role that requires not just technical precision, but an ability to coach, align, and elevate leaders across disciplines — and that’s exactly where I thrive. My approach to executive coaching was shaped by Stanford’s Interpersonal Dynamics (“Touchy Feely”), Adaptive Leadership, and The Advisory Board’s Fellowship model. These experiences taught me that growth isn’t about adding more complexity — it’s about simplifying what matters, building trust, and creating space for people to lead boldly. I work with leaders who want to: 1. Turn feedback into fuel, not fear. 2. Lead teams that are both high-performing and human. 3. Translate strategy and analytics into stories people actually care about. 4. Navigate conflict with curiosity instead of defensiveness. 5. Scale their influence without losing authenticity. My coaching philosophy lives by three values — Clarity, Faith, and Action. 1. Clarity means seeing yourself and your environment honestly. 2. Faith means trusting the process (and your people) even when outcomes aren’t guaranteed. 3. Action means doing the real work — testing, learning, iterating — because leadership, like analytics, is an experiment in motion. Over the years, I’ve designed leadership programs, built feedback cultures, and helped senior executives evolve from managers of work to stewards of growth. Whether I’m working one-on-one or with an entire leadership team, I aim to leave people feeling a little more grounded, a little more capable, and a lot more excited about what’s next. Coaching, for me, isn’t about “fixing” leaders — it’s about unlocking what’s already there and reminding them that transformation doesn’t happen in theory. It happens in conversation, in choice, and in courage.

About Alex
I’m a builder by nature — of teams, systems, and people. Professionally, I’ve spent my career helping organizations turn data into decisions and decisions into leadership growth. As Vice President of Analytics at UnitedHealth Group, I lead a global team that connects the dots between insight and action, bringing structure to complexity and clarity to chaos. But behind every dataset is a human story — and that’s where my real work begins. My passion is coaching analytical minds to lead with both precision and empathy. I work with data professionals who are stepping into leadership — people who think in systems, care about truth, and sometimes need a little help remembering that influence isn’t always logical. My coaching style blends structure with soul, drawing from Stanford’s Interpersonal Dynamics, Adaptive Leadership, and the belief that growth is less about adding more, and more about uncovering what’s already there. Outside of work, I’m a dad, a husband, a lifelong learner, and a big believer in experimentation — in business, in fitness, in parenting, in life. Whether I’m coaching an executive, debugging a model, or building LEGO towers with my kids, my philosophy stays the same: clarity creates freedom, faith fuels courage, and action builds everything else.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve seen what happens when smart, capable people hit invisible walls — not from lack of skill, but from lack of clarity, confidence, or connection. Especially in data and analytics, we train people to solve problems, but not always to lead through them. Coaching is how I help bridge that gap. For me, coaching isn’t about fixing people; it’s about revealing them — helping leaders see what’s really driving their choices, how their systems shape their behavior, and what might be possible if they led with more intention and trust. I coach because I believe in growth that’s both analytical and human. The kind that measures progress, but also feels it. The kind that builds leaders who think clearly, act courageously, and bring others along for the ride. And honestly — I coach because it changes me too. Every conversation reminds me how much potential sits just under the surface, waiting for the right question, the right pause, or the right kind of faith to bring it to life.
