About Akansha
Hey everyone! My name is Akansha and I'm excited to be here and help you achieve your MBA goals! I worked as an M&A lawyer in top law firms in India before I decided to switch careers through an MBA. Ended up at INSEAD with 50% scholarship and graduated with an offer from Bain in their London office. I enjoy working with prospective MBA candidates, especially those with non-traditional backgrounds like my own who struggle to translate their experiences & motivations into essays & resumes that the AdCom can appreciate. I also work pro-bono with high-school students in my free time to brainstorm personal statement topics and put together compelling essays for undergrad, so bring extensive experience in college applications in general.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I had the fortune to work with an incredible coach during my own MBA application process. I learned the art of coaching from her and spent the next 3 years mentoring prospective MBA candidates (especially lawyers) get into b-schools, strengthening my own coaching skills. I want to give back to the community and help YOU gain admission to your dream MBA program!
