With a robust background in management consulting, I bring over six years of experience at McKinsey & Company, where I rose to Associate Partner in <4 years after joining post-MBA as an Associate. My focus was on manufacturing and supply chain within the Operations practice, but I was involved in recruiting efforts across all practices, both generalist consultants and technical/specialist roles. I have given 100+ interviews and was extremely involved in recruiting, acting as recruiting lead for Chicago in some capacity from 2021-2025. A little bit about me: I spent three years at Bain & Company as a consultant and manager, after graduating from Michigan Ross with my MBA. I was heavily involved in recruiting at Bain: I was an on-campus recruiter for Pride @ Bain nationally, conducted undergraduate (associate consultant) interviews, supervised interns across Bain's Summer Associate, BASE, and ADvantage programs, and authored an MBA interview case. I've conducted over 300 mock consulting case interviews during my time at Bain and Ross, and I've successfully coached several individuals in getting MBB offers, many from non-traditional backgrounds. As an ex-BCG Project Leader and Interviewer, I'm intimately familiar with the consulting interview process, spanning from case to behavioral interviews. I was President of Consulting Prep for both Wharton's Consulting Club (MBA) and UT Austin's Consulting club (Undergrad), through which I've developed a "ground up" approach to building specific core consulting interview skills, then integrating them into a strong overall case interviewing muscle. My approach has garnered significant positive feedback and recognition, resulting in helping over 200 mentees achieve offers at top firms. For my efforts, I was awarded the Career Mentorship award at Wharton. I am fortunate to still have strong contact with many of my mentees, nearly all of whom have gone on great careers at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Deloitte, and Accenture (as well as other firms). Several of these mentees have gone on to achieve great post-consulting careers as well, ranging from Private Equity, to Tech Product Management, to Corporate Strategy I break down my feedback on each case interview into 5 areas, and give detailed, actionable feedback on each: Clarification, Frameworking, Quantitative Analysis, Qualitative Analysis, and Synthesis. This approach has been strongly validated by mentees and resulted in offers across all top firms. My foundations-first approach has led to being named a Leland Top 10 Management Consulting Coach in 2025, as well as a Top 50 coach across all disciplines in 2024.

I spent 7 years at BCG, from Associate to Project Leader. During this time, I was also first Recruiting Coach and then Interviewer, having coached and interviewed 100+ applicants for Associate & Consultant positions. I did my MBA degree at INSEAD, during which I coached 50+ of my co-students who were trying to get into Consulting. Finally, after leaving consulting, I also intensively coached my wife who as a result got offers from McKinsey, BCG and Bain.

Former McKinsey & Company consultant with 6 years experience across the San Francisco, New York offices and Johannesburg offices, advising leading financial institutions and sovereign wealth funds on strategy, M&A, AI integration, and organizational restructuring — including one of Wall Street's largest banks, a major US startup bank, and a Gulf sovereign wealth fund where I assessed the feasibility of a greenfield gold mining investment. I went through the McKinsey case interview process twice (pre-MBA at McKinsey Johannesburg, post-MBA at McKinsey US) and know exactly what separates a strong candidate from a passable one. Most recently, I served as CEO of a last-mile logistics company with 35+ employees, giving me an operator's perspective most case coaches don't have — we'll work through real client problems, not textbook ones. I have spent a lot of time around consulting recruiting — as a candidate, a business school peer coach, and through years of informal case prep and recruiting support. Across that time, I have worked through hundreds of practice cases and have seen how candidates improve when they get direct, specific feedback rather than generic advice. My focus is on helping candidates get better at the things that actually matter in live interviews: structuring ambiguous problems, doing clean math under pressure, communicating clearly, synthesizing the answer, and showing practical business judgment.
