I’m qualified to coach in Management Consulting because I’ve spent my career advising global banks, consulting firms, and complex enterprises on leadership, organizational dynamics, and large‑scale transformation. My background spans Big 4, boutique, and research‑based consulting environments where I architected organisational and workforce transformation programs across financial services, health, energy, and consumer markets - work that mirrors the complexity, pace, and client focus required in consulting. Since 2007, I’ve advised and coached more than 500 senior HR, L&D, and business leaders on talent strategy, workforce risk, leadership succession, and assessment product strategy. I’ve partnered closely with consulting teams to design human‑centric solutions, build transformation roadmaps, and navigate cross‑functional change - supporting consultants as they solve ambiguous problems, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable impact under pressure. As graduate faculty at Cambridge, I specialized in MEd learning and developed behavioural‑science‑driven training solutions grounded in adult learning and enterprise capability building — the same foundations that underpin effective consulting and advisory work. I bring a structured, governance‑aligned approach that helps consultants strengthen judgment, anticipate stakeholder dynamics, and operate at the altitude required for advisory roles. I worked for two summers at BCG in college and worked there for 2 years after undergrad. I used this experience to start a club at Harvard with the express aim of helping underrepresented backgrounds break into the consulting industry. All of this experience has given me an intimate understanding of the interview process, the job, and how to effectively coach people in this domain.

I have spent a decade building a non-traditional career myself, with global experience across sectors and geographies — starting in technology at an investment bank, then moving into social impact at foundations and non-profits. Post my Oxford MBA, I spent time in consulting at McKinsey and FSG. I started my career at Strategy& and BCG, where over the years, I've coached numerous clients to successfully get offers across McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Strategy&, Oliver Wyman, and many other top firms. I focus on helping you master case interviews, as well as refining resumes and behavioral interviews. Most consulting coaches took the standard route — target school into campus recruiting, or an MBA into MBB. I didn't. I studied engineering at Harvard, then spent 4 years at a PE-backed govtech company running sales and marketing before taking over the product and software engineering teams. I broke into BCG as an experienced hire, without an MBA, and made Project Leader. If you're making that jump from industry and can't figure out how to make your operating experience sound like consulting experience, that's the exact problem I had to solve for myself. I also sat on the interviewer side for 20+ live case interviews at BCG. That's what shapes how I coach — I know what's actually being scored, where interviewers check out, and which good-sounding answers quietly miss the bar. Most prep teaches you to perform a case. I spent five years at McKinsey, where I worked across technology, digital, analytics, and strategy engagements. Since then, I’ve led consulting, technology, and operations teams at Qualtrics and built two companies of my own. A big part of my career has also been developing other people. I’ve coached teams of consultants and internal consultants, trained 50+ Technical Consultants at Qualtrics on how to deliver an exceptional client experience, and interviewed 100+ candidates for McKinsey. That experience is actually what led me to build UpLeveled. I’ve found that many of the skills that make someone an exceptional consultant—handling a difficult client conversation, communicating clearly with executives, giving feedback, influencing without authority, or structuring an ambiguous problem—are hard to learn from a slide deck or a class.
