I have known Kathryne for approximately fifteen years. She is a caring individual who enjoys helping others to reach their full potential. She is a positive individual and I have been fortunate to observe her serve in various capacities. For example, at the church where we worship, Kathryne engages actively with the youths hence motivating them to build confidence. I have always admired the manner in-which she ministers to the youths and others. She listens to them keenly and ask questions to ensure she understands fully what is being communicated to her. Katherine is a lifelong learner, and is always studying to ensure that she stays abreast of the current changes in the world, so she can serve effectively.

Daniel’s ecstatic energy and support is unforgettable. As a junior nervous and completely confused on navigating the college admissions process, he was the mentor that supported me through it all. He genuinely wanted to support students personally, academically, and through the process. I don’t know what I would’ve done without him!

Pranav is a driven, intelligent person with a natural a tendency to help others. He was one of my first mentors when I started college in 2020 and has guided me with great advice and training ever since. I would highly vouch for Pranav

Nate is one of the most thoughtful and genuine people I know. He’s incredibly smart, but what really stands out is how much he cares. He’s always looking out for others, and his advice somehow manages to be both spot-on and exactly what you need to hear. He has a way of pushing you to step outside your comfort zone, without feeling alone because he’s right there, backing you up. You walk away from a conversation with Nate feeling more capable and cared about.

Shamel has been a colleague of mine whom I have worked closely with for 3 years at Vanderbilt University. He is one of the most academically accomplished individuals I know. He has a great ability to break down complicated concepts into easy to understand bits. Furthermore, his strong research background gives him insights into how basic science concepts are relevant and applicable to the broader field and the real world, enabling him to provide important contextualization that will enhance understanding of MCAT topics. Of course, with such strong research and experience with many different research internship applications, Shamel is also an amazing mentor for research applications. Personally, he has read and provided feedback on my application essays for summer research internships which has helped me earn prestigious internships at Vanderbilt University and University of North Carolina. He also has recently completed applications for arguably the most competitive graduate school program, combined MD PhD programs, receiving great success in the process. Thus, I strongly recommend Shamel for MCAT tutoring and help with research and medical school/MD PhD applications!

I can’t recommend Amelia enough for college admissions coaching and academic planning. She really takes the time to get to know her students and doesn’t just hand out cookie-cutter advice. For me, finding social science research at top universities and competitive internships at think tanks felt nearly impossible—so many resources are geared toward STEM. But she helped me navigate that, finding few opportunities that actually fit my interests. She also guided me through essays and applications in a way that pushed me to tell my story in the most genuine and compelling way. More than that, she walked with me through the tough times and celebrated my wins. She listens, challenges me, and helps me figure out my own path instead of just checking boxes. She’s a gem!
