Nirmal was very helpful and thorough. I took Manhattan GMAT classes and self studies including Official Guide books, but I was struggling to get to a score I was happy with. Nirmal really helped me focus on the areas that I needed help on, critical reasoning and reading comprehension especially, and I improved so much in a month and half. I also felt better studying on my own outside of tutor sessions, thanks to Nirmal. How to approach different question types, timing, etc. is different for everyone and Nirmal really helped me find my own pace and tactics to practice. He was very patient and thorough with each question I had and guided me to acheive the score I finally felt comfortable with. I appreciate all the effort and time Nirmal took to make sure that I understood the concepts tested and perform better each time -- even when I repeated my mistakes and my scores increased slowly. If you are on the fence, no need to look further and just go for it! I highly recommend Nirmal.

Josh initially came recommended by a friend who loved working with him. My experience was nothing short of exceptional. Josh not only taught the material well, but also held me accountable for doing my work. He also kept me confident. My score went up 50 (!) points in the very short time we worked together and I can honestly say he's a very big part of the reason I wound up getting accepted to every school I applied to (I ended up at Stanford). I would highly recommend Josh (and have already to several friends). He's as good as it gets.

Ryan helped me immensely in my banking recruiting. He walked me through everything from technical interviews to networking best practices and even sat down with me 1 on 1 to mock interview. Without his insights I probably wouldn’t have made it to Wall Street. Also, he was one of the presidents of the Investment Banking club at our university, which successfully helped place over 30 interns at top banks during one recruiting cycle!

Some background: I am an international student based in a Middle Eastern country with absolutely no quantitative background. The last time I took a math class was in high school, and I graduated high school 6 years ago. I decided that I wanted to take the GMAT and took a diagnostic test and scored an underwhelming 580. I signed up for an in-person private tutoring course by another well-known international prep company, and I was able to consistently hit the low 600s, but never past 650. Then I found Josh. Josh is a great tutor and will absolutely take you where you need to go with your quantitative skills. He makes himself available to all of his clients for questions, and even offers great insights and strategies that he has taken the time to figure out himself. He makes sure that you walk away knowing so much more about the exam than before. His emphasis on strategies is essential to any significant score improvement. His insight on sentence correction is also invaluable, and he did a great job walking me through the various approaches that made the verbal section very manageable for a non-native speaker like myself. In the weeks leading up to the exam, my GMATPrep scores ranged from 720-770, (With my highest Q at 50, and highest V at 47) and I finally took the test and scored a 730 (Q47/V42), which I am more than happy with. Definitely worth the money.

Prior to starting private online tutoring with Josh, I took a Manhattan Prep review course. The review course helped me re-learn a majority of the quant material, but I needed additional help preparing for the sentence correction and critical reasoning parts of the exam. After the course and prior to starting with Josh, I was consistently scoring around a 600 on practice tests, with low verbal scores (31/32). My sessions with Josh were challenging and often focused on sentence correction. He assigned thoughtful homework after each session that truly helped me finally understand the material. Josh completely transformed the way I approached sentence correction, allowing me to bring up my verbal score to a 40. Josh also taught me a number of test taking strategies that helped with my quant timing and data sufficiency, helping me improve my quant score from 43 to a 47. Overall, Josh is an extremely patient and knowledgeable tutor. I believe he is the reason why I was able to surpass the 700 mark. I strongly recommend working with Josh if you are looking to achieve your goal score on the GMAT.

Julia played a significant role throughout each stage of my recruiting journey. From the beginning, she quickly became a role model for me as someone who is articulate, confident and approachable. We had several conversations where she genuinely asked what I wanted to achieve in my career and empowered me to go after my goals. She helped me fine-tune my story, prepare for technical questions and consider which bank would be the best fit for my personal goals. She has consistently been someone who believes in me, instills confidence and inspires me. I will always be appreciative of her time and mentorship.

I am so lucky to have Julia as a mentor. She is an all around gem with the competency, experience, technical skills, and emotional intelligence to provide a wholistic approach to mentorship. She is extraordinarily personable and instills confidence both with her preparation and charisma. Her thoughtful approach to mentorship ensures personalized, honest, and impactful advice that cuts through any surface level services available on the market. Julia helped me craft my story, comprehend technical concepts, and most importantly, she listened and helped me make sound decisions during a very stressful process. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for a coach like her that cares.

With Andy’s help, I was recently admitted to several top programs including Stanford GSB. I do not think I would have been able to accomplish this without Andy’s expert guidance, not to mention the sense of calm and positivity he delivered throughout my application process. Andy’s feedback was extremely detailed, and I never got the sense that he was providing cookie-cutter advice. He does not use templates during the advisory process, but rather provides thoughtful and challenging feedback that helped my application develop into a unique and comprehensive expression of my candidacy. He never re-wrote any of my materials which guaranteed that my genuine voice could shine through in my applications. A couple of things that I can’t thank Andy for enough were his suggestion that I apply to two programs that I had previously not considered—and how generous he was with his time helping me prep for interviews. Responsiveness and reliability were stellar working with Andy. I also want to add that I purchased a 2 school package. This allowed me the peace of mind to work with Andy as much as I needed without having to worry about “the clock.” If I had to do it again, I would pick Andy. I look forward to the opportunity to refer him to my peers and friends.

When I made the decision to apply to business school, I knew I would be hiring an admissions consultant. You have to put in 100% of the work with your consultant to truly get the results you want, remember that. I have a journalism background and then worked in software sales for a number of years....Dione understood me, challenged me, provided clarity for me, helped me unearth my narrative, and became my confidant and trusted advisor throughout the whole process. Without her I know I wouldn't have received the number of interview invites as I did. With her leadership and friendship I committed to my dream school.
