I worked with Melanie while applying to five M7 programs, and she was instrumental in helping me articulate my story, clarify my post-MBA goals, and navigate the application process with confidence. She guided me through applying with a lower GPA, framing a job change that happened mid-application, and presenting my experiences in a compelling and authentic way. One of the things I valued most about working with Melanie was her honesty. She never sugar coated feedback or told me what she thought I wanted to hear. She gave me direct, thoughtful guidance that actually moved my applications forward, and that level of candor is rare. What truly sets Melanie apart is that she did more than help me strengthen my applications. She helped me understand my long-term goals on a deeper level, and that kind of clarity is invaluable. Jey focused on making my essays clearly reflect who I am, while pushing them to be as strong, focused, and impactful as possible. The result still felt like me but just much more compelling.

I had a fantastic experience working with Nirav to prepare for Wharton’s Team-Based Discussion and would highly recommend him. He gave incredibly thoughtful, specific feedback that helped me refine how I communicated my ideas, contributed in a group setting, and stayed grounded under pressure. Our sessions were well-structured and focused on exactly what Wharton looks for in the TBD, which made the preparation feel both efficient and effective. I went into the discussion feeling confident and prepared, and I’m happy to share that I was ultimately admitted to Wharton. Nirav’s guidance played a meaningful role in that outcome.

Erika was a huge support during my college applications. She was always responsive, super detail-oriented, and gave feedback I used right away. She helped me answer the questions clearly, and I ended up with a much stronger final draft.

Karla was an incredibly supportive and thoughtful advisor throughout my public policy application to Harvard Kennedy School. From the outset, she took the time to deeply understand my background as an international student, motivations, and long-term goals, which allowed her to offer guidance that felt both strategic and genuinely personalized. She carefully reviewed materials I had already drafted and consistently came to our meetings well-prepared, with concrete ideas on the policy area that I could focus on in my application, which was especially important given that I do not come from a traditional policy background. Beyond her substantive feedback, Karla was exceptionally responsive and reliable. She turned around edits quickly, providing detailed and constructive comments that significantly improved the clarity, cohesion, and overall competitiveness of my application. Not to mention, she boasts an impressive record of successfully helping her students gain admission to some of the best universities (ask her about her stats, they are outstanding). I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone seeking thoughtful, rigorous support for graduate-level applications.

Andrew was incredibly helpful in all aspects of my application. I was fairly last minute to applying, but he handled the rush job as perfectly as I could've asked for. Even while on vacation, Andrew took consistent calls with me to discuss essay strategy, application questions, and all of the other million things that come up when trying to finalize applications. He deeply understands how to frame the right essay and was instrumental in giving me confidence in my approach.

Michael has a remarkable ability to navigate complex conversations with ease and empathy. He brings a unique, high-level perspective to the table, hearing about his journey and personal story through the Schwarzman program was incredibly inspiring and adds a layer of depth to his coaching. He manages to keep the dialogue structured and productive while maintaining a very approachable atmosphere. He is a natural at guiding others toward clarity through both his insights and his own impressive experiences.

Avi is singular in his experience as a counsellor. My biggest regret this application season was not taking his comprehensive package as I was too late in my decision making and his roster was full. I say this for 3 reasons. 1) He is extremely dedicated to help you and your voice shine. His edits and reviews will make you feel seen and instill confidence in your story. I have had experiences with other counsellors who will promise the same "YOUR story, YOUR unique background" but not only are their edits and reviews vague and inactionable, they simply do not hold a candle to Avi's skill. 2) He genuinely cares about helping you. I sent him my essays 2-3 days before each deadline. Not only was this very late, but he was also supporting his own full-time clients. He came through and how! Timely communication, telling me exactly how he is going to help me and what would be required from my end. This means that he is truly extraordinary at managing your emotions and giving you helpful advice through a process that can instil self-doubt. 3) He has deep knowledge on each school that he picks to work with you on. He could turn around my CBS, GSB and Sloan essays in no time and nailed the head on what they wanted to hear, incorporating your own POV. I will reiterate, I have worked with and spoken to many counsellors, which makes me qualified to say that Avi is simply the best in the business. Reflecting as this application season comes to a close, I could have done many things differently and maybe I won't get in, maybe I will. But the only thing I am confident in is my essays. They present the best, most authentic version of myself - only because of Avi.
