Jonathan helped me prepare for Biomedical Sciences PhD interviews, specifically perfecting communication of my research experiences. We went through a guided structure he had designed before working through my individual experiences and what I should highlight. The questions he asked me to prepare almost perfectly mirrored what I was asked in interviews. Jonathan was energetic, responsive, and flexible with my last-minute scheduling. Our sessions were a major factor in my content and confidence going into PhD interviews. I can happily report that I was accepted to 3/3 of the programs I interviewed for with his help!

Working with Debby has been a complete game changer for my graduate school applications. In my previous application cycle, I was accepted to 0 out of 9 programs. After working with Debby, I have been accepted to 8 schools so far - Harvard, UPenn, CMU, Duke, UMich, Johns Hopkins, WashU, and UCSB - across a mix of Engineering and Education programs. What makes Debby exceptional is her rare combination of credibility, honesty, and support. She has a deep understanding of what admissions committees are looking for, but never tries to overwrite your story. Instead, she helps you shape the strongest version of it while making sure your own voice and personality come through clearly. Even her smallest decisions and suggestions made a real difference in how I presented myself, and strengthened my applications. Debby also went above and beyond throughout the process. She was consistently responsive over email, thoughtful in her feedback, and deeply invested in my success. This was my second attempt applying to Stanford — the only university and program I applied to. I was devastated after my first rejection, but Deb gave me the confidence to take another shot. She reviewed my previous application in depth and provided feedback in the form of thought-provoking questions rather than prescriptive answers. I used them to work through multiple drafts of my essays, which she reviewed with incredible patience and insightful feedback. I rewrote my SOP at least three times, but she never once made me feel like starting over was the wrong thing to do. She was always her cheerful, motivating self. Beyond the SOP, she helped me with my supplementary essays, résumé, and shortlisting my letter of recommendation writers. She even helped craft specific instructions and focus areas for each LOR writer so that their letters would complement my SOP and essays cohesively. In total, she reviewed my essays and SOP more than 30 times. Not only that, she reviewed my full application in detail three times on calls and was always prompt in responding to my questions — usually within a day. Thanks to her, I finally got into Stanford. Deb has a deep understanding of the inner workings of the admissions process and a real talent for helping you identify and iron out the flaws you can't see yourself. If not for her, I would not be living my dream today — and I truly believe this admit is as much hers as it is mine.

I came to Emily with what can only be described as an unhinged idea: apply to four M7 MBA programs in 2-3 weeks, start to finish. Her first response: "You're crazy." Her second: "Let's do it." Emily jumped into the deep end with me as I researched schools, prepped for the GRE, and worked essays across schools in parallel. What stood out most was her ability to pressure test my thinking. She really challenged me on my "why," and helped me connect the dots across my career progress thus far and my short- and long-term goals. The result: I landed a spot at my dream school.
