I came to Kelsey to get R2 MBA help. She is proactive with her approach and does not just see you as a client. She actively tries to be on your side and guides you throughout the process. Kelsey is fully aware of the emotions at play and sets out a clear a plan of action to attack the multiple different layers of the process. I have received help all the way from getting my resume to be perfect, to interview preparation. I would recommend her to any MBA applicant.

Even on short notice, he put together thoughtful, high-quality mock interviews that closely mirrored the real process. The MBA application is so deeply personal. I believe that the best coach is one who provides more than just tactical advice and the right steps; they are the one who listens to your story and knows how to ask the right questions to let you dig deeper. Dione has this way of helping you explore parts of yourself you might not have focused on as much originally. She takes the time to find what makes you unique, how to portray that to others, and how to have you learn more about yourself throughout the process. The best coach is also one who knows the right time to "check in" if you’ve been a bit silent, or notices the cues on a call to pause and give you a moment to reflect on whatever may be going through your mind. Dione is that coach. Dione, thank you for supporting me, but more importantly, thank you for helping me grow in more ways than one outside of just admittance to business school. I am so grateful.

Working with Derek was one of the most impactful coaching sessions I’ve had. I’ve worked with 10+ top coaches on Leland, and Derek stands out as one of the best. We met for a single session just 1–2 days before my final investment banking Superday for a full-time position, and it made a meaningful difference in my preparation and confidence going in—and, I believe, in the outcome. Derek is extremely thoughtful in how he structures his time. He allocated two full hours, and every minute was purposeful and efficient. He tailored the session precisely to my needs—covering behaviorals, technicals, a paper LBO, SaaS-specific questions relevant to my group, and a targeted “investment thesis” framework. We finished with a SaaS case interview that was directly aligned with what I expected to see and where I was least prepared. What stood out most was his ability to challenge me at exactly the right level. He pushed me hard without ever being discouraging, and his feedback was clear, actionable, and immediately useful. Even coming in well-prepared, I left with a long list of new concepts, sharper answers, and a much more structured approach. He also went out of his way to tailor everything to IB despite primarily coaching for PE, and was incredibly personable while staying disciplined on time. I came out of the session exhausted, but more confident and significantly better prepared, and went on to perform strongly across four Superday interviews shortly after. I genuinely believe Derek helped me go beyond just getting across the finish line—he helped me perform at a level that left no doubt in any of the interviewers’ minds. Given the level of insight and preparation he brings, he is significantly underpriced relative to other top coaches. I would strongly recommend Derek to anyone preparing for IB or PE recruiting—especially if you want a session that can materially change your outcome and need a time-sensitive, high-impact coach.
