As a former US Marine Infantry Officer, I know how difficult it can be to recruit for a completely unrelated field. While at Wharton (MBA) and Harvard (MPA) for graduate school I was able to pivot into management consulting with BCG New York City. During my second year at Wharton I was a Case Coach for the Consulting Club as well as Case Coach for the Veterans Club on campus. I coached over 50 students through the consulting recruiting process, provided feedback on resumes, and ran through mock case interviews. As an applicant, I did over 100 cases and as a coach, I have given over 100 mock cases and behavioral interviews. The majority of my students received offers from all three MBB firms.

Navigating the MBB recruiting process can seem overwhelming. I help student, at all stages and from all backgrounds, layout a framework to make themselves the ideal MBB candidate. I have the unique blend of transitioning to PM from a sales engineering -> management consulting -> Amazon product manager role. Aside from the coaching in my weekly 1:1's with the two junior PM's I manage, I also conduct learning sessions with my alumni org (illinoispm.com) of 20-30 university students, and I regularly mentor over 50+ students at Carlmont High School. Throughout my entire 10 year career, I have also had 30+ informal sessions to help friends and family optimize their resumes for ATS, and specific job roles.
