I spent 8 years inside Amundi, Europe's largest asset manager, moving from ETF business development to portfolio analytics, before going all-in on AI engineering. Today I lead AI strategy and adoption for the firm's ETF and distribution division, shipping production RAG systems, agents, and governance frameworks across a wide range of businesses, from portfolio management to operations. The twist: I came into AI with zero engineering background and taught myself the whole stack, from Python and SQL to LLM engineering, RAG, agentic systems, and DevOps.
