I’m a Stanford MBA graduate and a sports and entertainment investor and operator with experience across strategy, venture capital, and corporate development at organizations including the NBA and Nike. Sports and entertainment are among the most competitive, referral-driven industries to break into, but you can find your way in without preexisting connections. I’ve coached candidates ranging from undergraduates and MBA students to seasoned professionals looking to make the leap into sports and entertainment, helping them target roles across leagues, teams, startups, agencies, and major brands by sharpening their positioning, personal story, and tactical skills to stand out in a highly competitive job market. I've had the opportunity to work in sports marketing and social media on the team & brand side across all major sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, F1, ATP/WTA), connecting with the world's best athletes and biggest sports creators. My experience ranges from covering the Miami Dolphins on social media for 3 seasons to creating F1 Miami Grand Prix's social media strategy from the ground up to building the annual Fanatics Fest influencer invite list & event programming. In addition, I've built my own freelance business, gaining opportunities with TGL, NBA & more. With my experience spanning over the team, league, brand and agency side, I can help you figure out your career in sports marketing, social media & influencer marketing.

I’m qualified to coach in this category because I’ve spent the core of my career operating inside the sports industry at both a professional team and a fast-growing sports-technology company. At the Atlanta Hawks, I worked on strategic initiatives that supported both the business and basketball sides of the organization, giving me firsthand exposure to how sports organizations think, hire, and operate. Later, as SVP of Corporate Development and Strategy at Infinite Athlete, I helped shape the company’s direction across partnerships, product launches, acquisitions, and large-scale commercial initiatives. Hi everyone! I’m Sydney, a former Division I softball player at Yale and now a Senior Manager in Business Development & Strategy at Major League Baseball. After earning my MBA from Harvard Business School in 2024, I transitioned into the business of sports from a career in Investment Banking and Private Equity Investor Relations, where I've built deep experience in financial analysis, strategy, and operations. Since college, I’ve also dedicated significant time to mentoring through organizations like Make a Play Foundation, helping young professionals break into competitive industries.
