Welcome to my profile! With a rich background in sports management and player development, I specialize in guiding athletes through their transition from professional sports to new career paths. As a former Associate Manager of Player Development at the NBA, I have firsthand experience in creating exceptional experiences for athletes and facilitating career advancement opportunities. My work with organizations like Yahoo and the NBA has honed my skills in strategic planning, brand storytelling, and operational efficiency. Having successfully coached 18 individuals through their career transitions, I am passionate about helping athletes leverage their unique skills and experiences to thrive in new professional arenas. Leaving sport is about more than finding your next job. It's about figuring out how to channel the same drive that made you successful as an athlete into a career that's equally meaningful. As a former professional beach volleyball player, former NCAA head coach, and career coach who has helped more than 1,200 athletes navigate career transitions, I've learned that most former athletes don't lose their drive. They lose the environment that once helped channel it. The structure, feedback, accountability, and shared purpose that came naturally through sport don't automatically exist in the next chapter. My coaching combines practical career strategy with performance coaching to help you navigate that transition with clarity and confidence. Together, we'll identify what motivates you, translate your athletic experience into professional strengths, develop a focused job search strategy, strengthen your personal brand, prepare for interviews, and build a plan that aligns with both your goals and the way you're wired to perform. To support this work, I developed the Athlete Intrinsic Motivator (AIM) framework, a coaching tool designed to help athletes better understand what drives them, identify the environments where they'll perform at their best, and make career decisions that align with both their strengths and motivations. My goal isn't simply to help you land another job. It's to help you build a career where you can continue to grow, perform, and find the same sense of purpose and fulfillment that sport once gave you.

I have over 15 years of career and MBA admissions coaching experience. I have helped Olympians, including Gold and Silver medalists, transition into the world of business. I will first help you assess your strengths and weaknesses, give you a process to explore exciting career paths, and then help you map out the educational steps to get there. I have been a competitive athlete at a high level in multiple sports and lived the transition to business. I am currently a podium-level age group triathlete so I am very in tune with the achievement mindset.
