As the Director of Engineering for Infrastructure at Opendoor (and previously Headspace), I lead strategy and execution for cloud infrastructure and developer experience. My previous roles at Headspace and OpenText involved leading cloud infrastructure, SRE functions, and technical program management, where I successfully unified cloud platforms and improved developer productivity. Hi there! I have three decades of experience in software engineering and architecture. Over the last 14 years I focused on SRE, DevOps with specialization in Kubernete and multi-cloud. I managed tens of Kubernetes clusters across Google GKE, AWS EKS and Azure AKS. I helped high-caliber companies like Cloud Kitchens (now ATOS) and Perplexity to run their systems efficiently and reliably. I have hands-on experience at the highest level and scale with all aspects of software development and infrastructure: Coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, security. You name it I've done it in production with high stakes. While I was immersed in these high-pressure environments I also made a point to share the knowledge and experience I gained with the community through hundreds of technical articles and several books, including my Mastering Kubernetes book series (4 editions).
