I bring 15+ years of experience across quantitative investing, portfolio management, derivatives, and institutional asset management. My career includes leadership roles at AQR Capital Management, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank, where I developed and managed systematic investment strategies across equities, fixed income, commodities, currencies, and derivatives. I hold an M.S. in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University and have extensive experience in factor investing, portfolio construction, risk management, options trading, quantitative research, and Python-based investment analysis. As a mentor and coach, I help professionals break into quantitative finance, asset management, hedge funds, portfolio management, and derivatives-related roles. I spent nine years as a Managing Director running an exotic rates and FX derivatives trading desk at UBS, then moved into model risk, heading a twenty-person global team of model validators at Deutsche Bank covering rates, FX, equities, and commodities. I later worked in valuations risk, doing independent price verification on complex derivatives portfolios. My coaching comes directly from having priced, traded, and validated the models behind real derivatives books, so I can speak to what actually happens on a desk and in a model validation team, not just how to talk about it. I coach candidates targeting quant trading, quant research, model validation, and structuring roles. I focus on the technical interview content itself, including derivatives pricing, risk sensitivities, and probability questions, as well as how to present a quantitative background clearly under pressure. I've interviewed hundreds of candidates and hired dozens across these firms, so I know what a hiring manager in this space is actually listening for. You may notice I don't have reviews here yet.
