I have an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and hold a BS in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler. I have supported Admissions Committee interviews and TA'd Negotiations classes at Chicago Booth. From a professional perspective, I am currently Head of Operations at AirGarage, a Series B startup, after spending my first 1.5 years at the company as a GM, owning an 8-figure P&L. Prior to this, I led strategic pilot projects at Scale AI in the Generative AI space. Prior to this, I worked at Instacart for over 5 years where I helped scale Operations from Series D all the way through IPO. My experience began when I learned to solve for cold starts by launching markets across the US and Canada. Eventually this turned into a Senior Manager role where I led strategy and operations for our Canadian markets. Prior to Instacart, I have experience as a IBM Digital Strategy Consultant supporting retail clients. Over the years, I have successfully coached several individuals, helping them navigate the complexities of business strategy and operations. Over the last 4 years at LinkedIn Business Operations (BizOps), I have conducted behavioral and case interviews plus been in the discussions on the final hiring decision. My coaching approach is centered on empowering individuals with the tips / tricks to both get their resume to the "top of the pile" and then rock their behavioral and case interviews. I'm currently a Manager at LinkedIn and advise leaders on how to shape the product strategy to generate the greatest business impact. This role has enabled my passion for using data-analytics and strategy to inform business decisions. Prior to LinkedIn, I worked for 3 years as a Consultant at Deloitte within the Healthcare industry. I've worked across all three. At McKinsey, I was trained to break down ambiguous problems, build the business case, and communicate to senior stakeholders under pressure. At Ericsson, I rotated across business control, commercial strategy, and tactical management inside a 100,000-person global organization — which means I know what strategy looks like when it has to survive contact with reality. Now as VP of Global Business Control at a global SaaS company, I sit at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy at the executive level — and I see every day what separates the people who get pulled into high-stakes work from the ones who don't. I teach frameworks, but I coach from having run the operations they describe. I spent sixteen years in government as an analyst, GS-15 manager, and Chief of Staff — briefing senior U.S. officials and reconciling divergent agency positions into consensus in high-stakes, contested environments. I then moved to VP-level private-sector leadership and founded my own consulting firm. That work has included rescuing a mainframe-to-cloud migration where 18 teams were eight months behind with four months left to a fixed deadline, saving the client $12M; standing up a first PMO in six months that unified 37 cross-functional teams; designing a 25,000-person workforce's move to managed work processes with OKR reporting leadership could act on in real time; and building AI governance frameworks organizations actually use. I hold PMP, Advanced ScrumMaster, Product Owner, and Atlassian certifications — and I still do this work daily, so what you get from me is current practice, not recalled theory. What I bring to coaching is the discipline underneath all of that: separating signal from noise. Every organization is full of activity; few can say which part of it actually moves the mission. I graduated Harvard Business School in 2018 and one of the favorite parts of school was serving as an admissions representative and helping prospective students navigate the admissions process. I am passionate and excited to help clients pursue their business degree in the way and place that best fits their needs. Before business school I worked as a marketing engineer at Texas Instruments (yes, the calculator company) in a role that was a liaison between our sellers in the field and engineers at corporate. It was a great job but I knew I wanted to learn more about business through an MBA. I quickly realized telling my story and background was tricky for a business setting because of how “non traditional” it was. Thus began my hate-affair with the phrase “non traditional”. I believe anyone and everyone regardless of your background has something to contribute to and can benefit from a business education. Thinking through what that could look like for clients and sharing what I’ve learned from my research and experience is why I coach in my spare time. After graduating HBS, I received a full time off from my internship in strategy and operations at Google and now work in the office of the CTO at Verily. During my time at Google, I helped Google Cloud scale with the growing industry and also worked part time in our internal incubator, Area120, on an AI integrated home fitness platform startup and now do chief of staff/strat ops functions for Verily's tech org. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dogs, scuba diving, teaching fitness classes, and watching college football.
