I’m Floriane, a dual-degree MD-MBA candidate at Stanford who has sat on the School of Medicine’s admissions committee as a full voting member (reading files, debating candidacies, and casting final votes). That insider vantage point, paired with five years of coaching experience, has helped more than a dozen applicants earn seats at Stanford, UCSF, UW (Seattle), UC Davis, and other selective programs. I draw on a broad toolkit: narrative-driven personal-statement editing, data-backed school list strategy, and high-fidelity MMI and traditional interview prep informed by my own faculty interviewer training. I am a medical student at the the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. I received a 522 on my MCAT and have a background in research, healthcare consulting, and startups (as Co-Founder and CEO of an orthopedic device company). I have a special interest in students with backgrounds in entrepeneurship, consulting, and research. I love to learn about what brought people to the medical field and help students illustrate why they are a great fit for each of their dream medical schools!

I went through the medical school application process myself and was fortunate to get into 10 medical schools 🎉, with full-ride scholarships from multiple schools 💰🎓. Since then, I’ve helped a lot of friends and other applicants with everything from building a smart school list 📝 to personal statements, secondaries, interviews 🎤, and scholarship strategy. Several of the people I’ve worked with have gone on to receive major merit scholarships totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars 💸. I really enjoy helping applicants not just get in, but put themselves in the best possible position once the acceptances start coming in. I also scored a 525 on the MCAT 📚 and ultimately chose UCLA, where I received a full-ride merit scholarship. I know how stressful and confusing this process can be 😅, and I try to be the person I would have wanted helping me through it: straightforward, responsive, and willing to give very specific, honest feedback. My goal is simple: help you build an application that actually sounds like you, make smart strategic decisions, and avoid wasting time on generic pre-med advice 🚀.

Welcome to my profile! As a recent matriculant of the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, the application process is fresh in my mind and I am here to help! Just last year, I received interview invitations from more than 18 elite medical and graduate programs and acceptances from the likes of Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and more. For most institutions, MD-PhD applicants are evaluated separately by the medical and graduate school, meaning that despite my specialized track I have ample credentials to help both medical and graduate students as they undergo this rigorous process. As a first generation college student, I have also worked especially closely with my Alma matar’s Ivy League career services department, providing me with additional professional knowledge that I can share with you! I have also serviced as an interviewer both for the University of Pennsylvania undergraduate early and regular decision cycle and Perelman School of Medicine’s applicants. I currently conduct volunteer career services counseling for first generation low income students at Penn interested pursuing medicine and biomedical research. I mentor students at all stages from sophomore to gap year. My most recent class of mentees have received interviews at Harvard, Yale, Washington University in Saint Louis, Emory, and more. I’m a fourth-year MD/MSCI student at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from Brown University in 2021 with a degree in neuroscience and spent the following two years conducting clinical and translational research at the National Institutes of Health. During that time, I also developed a strong passion for mentorship through my work with College Bound, a nonprofit that supports underserved high school students navigating the college admissions process. As a medical school applicant, I was fortunate to be admitted to several top-ten programs. I converted nine of eleven interviews into acceptances and successfully negotiated substantial scholarships from multiple schools, including NYU's full cost-of-attendance Silverstein Scholarship. I credit this success to strategic self-presentation, clear and persuasive communication, and a polished application. I am interested in helping guide aspiring Pre-med and medical students through the admissions/application process. My journey includes completing my MD at Tel Aviv University, Internal Medicine residency at UConn, Chief Resident at Greenwich Hospital, and currently as a Gastroenterology Fellow at Rochester Regional Health.
