I applied to Oxford's MFE and HEC's MSc International Finance, got into both, and chose Oxford. Distinction and Dean's List. Since then I've coached applicants through successful admits at Oxford, HEC, and peer programmes across Europe.
These programmes select differently, and most applicants don't realise that until it's too late. The CV that works for Oxford won't necessarily land at HEC. The personal statement angle that fits HEC's international cohort framing will feel wrong for Oxford's research culture. A "why this programme" answer written for twelve schools will fail at all of them.
In 45 minutes I'll cover what separates successful applications: how to position your profile for a specific programme, what referees actually need to say, and how to write something that reads like it was meant for one school.
Plenty of time for Q&A at the end. Session is recorded. Attendees get priority access to 1:1 coaching at a discounted rate.
Best suited for 2026-27 and 2027-28 applicants.
