About Zul

I’m Zul — a founder, coach, and now part of the Management Rotation Program at Capital One, where I’m gaining cross-functional experience across product, strategy, and operations. Before that, I co-founded an AI startup in the education space, where I built products from scratch, worked directly with schools, and learned what it takes to turn an idea into something real and impactful. Along the way, I’ve coached over 100 students into top schools and guided aspiring professionals as they transitioned into careers in consulting, banking, product, and other corporate roles. My journey blends the scrappiness of building a startup with the structure of a Fortune 100 company, and I use that mix to help others take their next step with clarity and confidence.

Why do I coach?

I know what it feels like to chase opportunities without a clear roadmap. When I was breaking into corporate America, I had to learn how to turn my experiences into a story that resonated with recruiters. Mentors who gave me honest, practical guidance changed everything for me. I’ve also seen how stressful the college admissions process can be. Over the years, I’ve coached 100+ students into Ivy League and top schools by helping them uncover their strengths and tell their stories with confidence. I coach because I believe access to the right guidance can change someone’s future — whether that’s landing your first role in consulting, banking, or product, or earning a spot at your dream school.
