About Vidhu
I started my career as a software engineer who loved solving hard technical problems. Over the years, I grew into engineering leadership — and somewhere along the way, I realized that building systems is one thing, but building people is what truly excites me. Today, I lead engineering teams with a strong foundation in technical depth and structured thinking. I care deeply about clarity — in architecture, in decision-making, and in communication. My goal as a leader is to create high-performing teams where people feel challenged, supported, and empowered to grow. I’m especially passionate about helping engineers transition from individual contributors to managers. It’s a shift that’s rarely taught well, and I’ve seen how overwhelming it can feel. Through mentoring and coaching, I help professionals build leadership confidence, influence without authority, and create sustainable careers — without burning out. I am a mother of 2, and as a leader and a mother, I also care about designing success in a way that doesn’t require sacrificing personal life. I believe you can build an ambitious career and still be present for the people who matter most.
Why do I coach?
What energizes me most isn’t just building systems — it’s building people. I started my career loving the technical side of engineering. I still do. But over time, the moments that stayed with me weren’t product launches or architecture wins. They were conversations — helping someone think through a hard leadership decision, watching an engineer step into management for the first time, seeing someone gain confidence in a room they used to shrink in. I’ve lived the IC to manager transition myself. I know how disorienting it can feel. One day you’re rewarded for writing great code, and the next you’re expected to lead people, manage conflict, think strategically — often without real guidance. I had to figure out a lot of it on my own. If I can make that path smoother for someone else, that feels meaningful. I also think coaching represents something deeper for me. I don’t just want career success. I want flexibility. I want to be present with my kids. I want to build something that grows over time — something that isn’t tied to a title or a single company. Coaching feels like a way to create impact beyond my immediate team while also designing a life that aligns with my values. There’s also a part of me that wants to prove that ambition doesn’t have to mean burnout. That you can be thoughtful, structured, calm — and still powerful. That you can lead well and live well. Becoming a coach is my way of combining everything I care about: Technical depth. Leadership growth. Systems thinking. Motherhood. Sustainability. Freedom. Coaching feels less like a pivot and more like an expansion of who I already am.
