McKinsey l Wharton
As an anthropology major, I know how difficult it can be to recruit for a completely unrelated field. I joined the investment desk at J.P. Morgan Private Bank immediately out of undergrad and was able to pivot into management consulting with McKinsey New York during my MBA program at Wharton. During my second year, I was hired and trained as a Career Fellow by the Wharton Career Management Center, where I coached over 50 students through the consulting recruiting process, provided feedback on resumes, and ran through mock case interviews. As a Case Parent for the Wharton Consulting Club, I had access to additional resources to help students in my pod on their recruiting journey. As an applicant, I have done over 40 cases and as a coach, I have given over 100 mock case and behavioral interviews. I am happy to say that some of my students received offers from all three MBB firms.
