About Sydney
I’m a Stanford GSB MBA and startup founder with a passion for solving people-centered problems at the intersection of innovation, equity, and access. I grew up in a working-class family where I learned to navigate complex systems with creativity, grit, and heart. Before business school, I worked on housing attainability models, bought my first investment property at 23, and helped build platforms aimed at expanding economic opportunity. At Stanford, I led both the Real Estate and Texas Clubs, co-founded a venture to help first-time homebuyers build wealth, and explored systems change through global field research on climate transitions and development policy. My path hasn’t been linear, but it has been intentional. Every chapter reflects a commitment to building meaningful solutions and helping others do the same.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it feels like to forge your own path without a map. I didn’t grow up around MBAs, and I didn’t have the language or access early on to understand how these systems work, until mentors and peers helped me see what was possible. Their belief in me, and their practical guidance, changed my trajectory. Now, I aim to be that person for someone else. Coaching matters to me because the application process isn’t just about getting in, it’s about getting clear. Clear on your values, your voice, and the life you want to build. Whether you’re a first-gen applicant, a career switcher, or someone chasing a mission bigger than yourself, I’m here to help you tell your story powerfully and truthfully. I bring empathy, structure, and strategic insight, but also humor and humanity, because you don’t have to do this alone.
