Swarnima’s AI for Product Development Qualifications

Experience level: Manager

I'm a Technical Product Manager/Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building production systems at AWS, Intel, and Oracle (including foundational work on AWS AI Personalize and Intel's Tiber AI Cloud). I've spent the last several years at the intersection of engineering and product, leading cross-functional initiatives, shaping platform roadmaps, and translating technical architecture into business outcomes. I'm also a UC Berkeley-trained ML and AI practitioner and a Berkeley Haas COBE (Business Excellence) candidate, with coursework in AI-Driven Product Strategy and Executive Leadership. I founded The Product Minded Engineer Club (thepmeclub.com) and coach engineers and technical founders who are building AI products and want to close the gap between what's technically possible and what users actually need. Whether you're defining your first AI feature roadmap, choosing the right inference stack, or figuring out how to go from prototype to production, I help you with both the engineering depth and product thinking to help you build with clarity and confidence.

About Swarnima

I'm a technical PM / staff software engineer with 12 years of experience building systems that operate at scale from AWS Elastic Block Store and Lambda@Edge to Intel's Tiber AI Cloud. I've been a founding team member on a cloud platform, an AWS Security Guardian, a Document Bar Raiser, and a cross-functional technical lead across AI inference, distributed storage, and observability infrastructure. I don't just write code. I shape how systems are designed, how teams make technical decisions, and how engineering work connects to business outcomes. I'm currently deepening that lens through Berkeley Haas's Business Excellence program, with a focus on AI-Driven Product Strategy and Executive Leadership. I founded The PME Club for engineers who want to operate at the intersection of technical depth and product impact because that's where the most interesting problems live.

Why do I coach?

I coach because technical excellence alone doesn't determine who gets to the next level. Clarity does. I've watched sharp engineers stall because they couldn't translate their impact, navigate ambiguity, or think at the scope their role demanded. I've also been the person in the room who could. I coach to close that gap. If you want to think and operate like a leader in interviews, in system design or in how you drive decisions, I can show you exactly what that looks like from the inside.
