About Sophie
I'm a mission-driven individual with a passion for serving others. As a child of immigrants, I've had to navigate the US college and job market without that generational wisdom, so I know how overwhelming and isolating it can feel. I'm excited to pay it forward to help bright and talented individuals get roles that they deserve.
Why do I coach?
Job searching can feel incredibly isolating and demoralizing, and you don't have to go through it alone. I've served others in various ways: ✨ Helped candidates receive their dream offers, both in and out of consulting ✨ Counseled 500+ individuals at Crisis Text Line through periods of high stress ✨ Served as the Engagement Manager on pro-bono work for Chicago non-profits while at McKinsey ✨Taught and supported several courses at Cornell, including the Cornell Leadership Certification Program and Management Consulting at the Johnson School of Business, where I thrived working with students 1 on 1

I achieved a 3.95 cumulative GPA, which placed me on the Dean's List for the College of Engineering every semester. Outside of class, I was the General Manager of the Cornell University Chorus and was a News Writer for The Cornell Daily Sun. Additionally, I participated in the Cornell Engineering Leadership Certification Program, and later became an assistant of the program. I was an avid teaching assistant in addition to my other extracurriculars. I TA'ed a graduate-level engineering class, a business school class on management consulting, and even taught a 1-credit course on engineering probability & statistics.
