As a certified school counselor, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 500 students navigate the college admissions and financial aid process. I’ve worked with both domestic and international students, helping them gain admission to universities across the US, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, and many other countries. I truly believe in building strong, supportive relationships with my students and their families. This allows me to better understand each student’s unique needs and expectations, ensuring we’re all on the same page throughout the process. I’ve specialized in college admissions, holding a post-graduate certificate from Columbia and certification as a College Admissions Specialist through the American School Counselors Association. I also have training in executive functioning skills—things like time management, study habits, and organization—and in career development strategies. This helps me guide students to discover their passions and strengths, which we can then shape into a strong college application profile. Having worked in high school guidance offices, I’m familiar with the details involved in creating transcripts, securing letters of recommendation, and gathering other required documents. I’m also well-versed in common school-based application systems like Naviance, Scoir, and Maia Learning. This knowledge allows me to help students navigate the specific requirements of their school districts, from applications to course selection. With my broad understanding of university programs, entry requirements worldwide, and a passion for helping students realize their full potential, I’m committed to working with you to create and implement a plan that sets you up for long-term success.
