About Sophia

I am a college counselor with expertise spanning domestic and international university admissions, including US, UK/UCAS, and European university systems. I work with students through every stage of the college process, from building strategic college lists and developing application essays to navigating standardized testing and securing strong letters of recommendation. I bring a detail-oriented, student-centered approach to every family I work with, combining deep knowledge of the admissions landscape with a genuine investment in helping each student find the right-fit school for their goals.

Why do I coach?

College admissions can feel overwhelming, and the difference between a stressful process and a confident one often comes down to having the right guidance at the right time. I coach because I believe every student deserves a thoughtful advocate in their corner, someone who knows the process inside and out and can help them tell their story in the most compelling, authentic way possible. I am drawn to the moments when a student realizes they have something genuinely worth saying, and when a family feels truly prepared rather than anxious. For me, counseling is not just about getting into college; it is about helping students understand their own strengths, articulate their ambitions, and approach one of life's first major decisions with clarity and confidence.
