Fulbright Scholar & Former White House Writer | Essay Expert
I have extensive experience in writing and education, and therefore bring a unique perspective to college admissions coaching. As a current Fulbright Scholar, I have spent significant time crafting application essays for fellowships, and learning how to make these essays competitive. My time in Taiwan through Fulbright has also taught me to work on English writing with people from a wide range of backgrounds including internationally. As former Presidential Writer at The White House, I honed my skills in crafting precise and impactful narratives on extremely tight deadlines in a high pressure environment. My work as a tutor at SpiderSmart learning centers has equipped me with the tools to guide high schoolers through the intricacies of the application process, making sure that they put their stories, and their best foot forward. Additionally, my leadership roles in political campaigns have helped hone my ability to mentor and manage, which I apply to support students in achieving their academic goals. As a graduate of the University of Chicago, I also bring my own experience navigating the competitive college admissions process.
