You’ll work with a Leland coach to map out your priorities, identify key areas of opportunity, and build momentum toward your target schools. Common coaching activities in this package include, but are not limited to: - Kickoff Strategy Session: Explore your background, goals, and timeline to co-create a personalized college admissions plan - Profile Evaluation: Get feedback on your academic/extracurricular profile and how it compares to your target schools - School List Building: Create a balanced list based on your interests, strengths, and aspirations - Application Roadmap: Outline major deadlines, early decision strategies, and next steps - Narrative Planning: Identify key themes and experiences to highlight in your essays and application

With over a decade of admissions experience, Skyler has read and rendered admissions decisions for some of the most competitive academic programs in the world. Skyler previously served as associate director of admissions at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and assistant director of undergraduate admissions at Northwestern University, where he also received a Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Policy with an emphasis on college admissions. Skyler has extensive experience in admissions consulting as well, taking a personal approach to advising and supporting students as they navigate the college admissions process. Skyler has successfully helped hundreds of students get admitted to schools such as Yale, MIT, Berkeley, USC, Northwestern University, and more! Skyler is also passionate about college access, and from Adams Admissions Consulting’s inception, supporting low-income, first-generation students has always been core to the company’s mission. Skyler serves as a board member for the college access nonprofit, Green Halo Scholars where he supports the organization's efforts in supporting first-generation college students.
