You can start chatting with Shoshana before you get started.
I'm Shoshana, founder of Emerging Whole and a Minneapolis-based coach and consultant. For over a decade, I worked in strategy, organizational effectiveness, and change management, partnering with government agencies, nonprofits, universities, and leadership teams to help them navigate complex change. Along the way, I mentored countless people finding their footing early in their careers, and I built career development programs designed to give junior professionals the guidance and support I wished I'd had. Eventually, I made the leap myself, leaving a long career at Accenture to build something of my own. That transition, like many of the biggest shifts in my life, taught me firsthand that growth rarely happens in a straight line. I've navigated my own share of challenges along the way, professionally and personally, and I've learned that real change happens when strategy meets self-awareness. Outside of my professional life, you'll usually find me outdoors, making playlists, gathering the people I love around a table, or writing. Words have always been how I process the world, and I'm excited to share more of that soon: my first book, a poetry memoir, is coming out in the near future. That same belief in showing up as a whole person, not just a title or a resume, is the philosophy behind Emerging Whole: helping people bring their full selves to their work and their lives, rather than leaving parts of themselves at the door. Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you did, and I'd love to help you find more chapters of clarity, confidence, and wholeness in whatever you're navigating next.
Shoshana also coaches for Life Coaching, Mental Health & Wellness, and Executive Coaching. View all.
Shoshana’s Career Coaching Qualifications
Coaches professionally
Experience level: Associate
Over more than a decade in strategy consulting, including my time at Accenture, I mentored numerous individuals as they navigated their own career paths, and I helped design and lead career development programs specifically built to guide junior professionals through their early and mid-career journeys. That experience taught me how to translate big-picture strategic thinking into practical, personalized guidance for someone figuring out their next move. Since founding Emerging Whole, I've brought that same combination of structure and mentorship to career coaching, helping clients get clarity on their goals, navigate transitions, and build the skills and confidence to advance on their own terms. Whether you're aiming for your next promotion, considering a pivot, or building something of your own as I did when I left Accenture to start my business, I bring both the frameworks of a strategy consultant and the perspective of someone who has personally walked the path of a major career change.

Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it's like to feel stuck between who you've been and who you're becoming, and I know how much of a difference it makes to have someone in your corner while you figure that out. Early in my career, I was fortunate to have mentors who saw potential in me before I fully saw it in myself, and that shaped how I've shown up for others ever since. Throughout my time in strategy consulting, I made it a priority to mentor others and build development programs to help junior professionals find their footing, because I remembered what it felt like to need that guidance myself. But the deeper reason I coach goes back to my own path. I've navigated a lot in my personal life and with my own mental health, more than I could fit into a bio, and I've worked closely with coaches of my own along the way who fundamentally changed how I approach challenges, relationships, and myself. Leaving a long, successful career to build something new was one more chapter in that journey, and it forced me to confront parts of myself that I'd spent years managing quietly while performing at a high level. Experiencing that kind of support firsthand, and seeing what it made possible for me, is exactly why I do this work now. I coach because I know what it's like to need someone in your corner, and because I know what's possible when you have one.
