■ Owned the full planning and reporting cycle for a $4bn+ film studio, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting across 10+ revenue streams. ■ Led variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing executive management with clear, narrative-driven commentary explaining the drivers of performance — what happened, and what it meant for the business. ■ Produced management reporting covering all studio business units, with theatrical performance as the lead indicator for downstream distribution profitability, alongside quarterly KPI and metrics tracking. ■ Oversaw updates to individual film forecast P&Ls, tracking performance across the full revenue lifecycle. ■ Ran scenario analysis modelling the impact of varying box office outcomes on studio profitability across all revenue streams. ■ Prepared and reviewed MD&A and management reporting packages to support quarterly investor earnings calls, translating complex financial results into clear, actionable reporting for senior leadership and parent company executives. ■ Provided leadership with financial risk commentary covering key business exposures including theatrical and slate performance, FX, film asset impairments, and participant litigation risk on backend deals. ■ Led department of 11 through the Disney merger and integration, including alignment of accounting policies, systems integration, and transition to Disney’s annual operating plan and long-range planning process. Key member of merger integration team collaborating with Disney management to achieve transition deadlines. ■ Collaborated with internal and external counsel to provide accurate and timely financial information for global governmental anti-trust review in connection with the acquisition. ■ Served as technical accounting lead for new FASB standards (ASC606) and advised on accounting treatment for new lines of business including mobile gaming, distribution, and co-financing.
